Led by a team of dedicated volunteers and staff, the Association provides a home for local activists working together in support of the Conservative Party. With a broad church ideological home, we are always open to welcoming new members and supporters within our very own conservative family.
We are one of the most vibrant Party organisations in the country, boasting a range of strong societies for our members and supporters to get involved with, including a flourishing Young Conservatives, award-winning Policy Forum, as well as area Branches which all host regular events.
An elected Officers Committee sets the organisation's overall direction and administration on campaigning, events, membership and finance. The Executive Council, which meets twice a year, oversees this work and is comprised of the Officers Committee, Events Committee, Branch Officers, as well as senior Conservative Councillors on Uttlesford District, Chelmsford City and Essex County councils.
